The LAUDUAL HEAD-UP Toothbrush prioritizes sustainability by using plant-based materials, PHA+PLA, for its handle. PHA, derived from microbial fermentation, is less harmful to the environment when disposed of in landfills and serves as a nutrient source for microorganisms. This material is suitable for the bristles and handle, and even when standard recycling methods are difficult, it decomposes quickly and returns to the environment.
Additionally, the toothbrush enhances its eco-friendliness by including 56% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) PBT material in the bristles.
The toothbrush head is elevated at an 8° angle to prevent it from touching surfaces, ensuring convenience and hygiene. This design allows thorough cleaning of all corners of the mouth without excessive wrist bending.
A practical design with a 100° triangular structure has been applied to the toothbrush. When the toothbrush is placed on a surface, its edge causes it to tilt slightly, allowing water from the bristles to flow to the side, preventing the growth of harmful bacteria. Additionally, the edge naturally fits where the fingers bend when holding the toothbrush, ensuring a stable grip and ease of use.
